One of the Northern Bucks Democrats’ community service projects is participation in
PennDOT’s Adopt-A-Highway program. We have been assigned the portion of Trumbauersville
Road between Route 309 and Tollgate Rd.

 

Over the past 8 years, we have held these events 3-4
times per year. We meet at the parking lot by the QNB at 9:30am and break into 4 small groups
to each cover a quarter of this road. The event usually takes 1-1.5 hours and we collect around
12-15 bags of trash.

 

We supply bags, gloves, and vests to all participants. This is a small event
that makes a huge difference in the beauty of our community.
